the internet is a wild wild west of information. the webs woven whimsically deminish and acknowledge both fact and fiction unbiasedly. we live in a ‘me me me’ society which easily explains why ‘memes’ in the twenty-first century are such a capitalist environment.
heroism is defined by accolades and accomplishment. finding a youth that doesn’t know the name “michael jordan,” in this lifetime would bee hard pressed news because michael is both awarded and accommodated. he has built an empire around his jordan brand apparel, certifying himself a member of the billionaires boy’s club.
during the nineties he spent his time setting the nba ablaze, amassing a record six final’s championship trophies and championship rings. since retiring he has used philanthropy to boast around the league, helping former usa teammates solidify their rank amongst their peers and competitors in their respective gardens. and mj still manages to extend mentorship to young and developing professional athletes in oregon through nikes facility in eugene.
michael jordan’s status as a hero has been proven over and over again and that is why i hate to see it tested.
the internets have recently run amock with images parodying business decisions of michael jordan, or rather mocking the decision’s of a nation, class, and generation of americans.
suddenly everyone without a ged has become a business major. forgetting the foundations of our existence it seems we have also forgotten who and what made us as great as we were. the truth is self evident, the signals are have however become skewed.
nike and apple being two of the most sought after american assets. nike stocks religiously close hovering around sixty dollars. flashback to two.k.one and the ideals of religion in american society and culture were forever changed with the falling of the world trade centers in new york city.
there is no secret the united states of america is a capitalistic organization. corporations like amazon, nike, and apple initated this country into prominence and granduer. and the attacks on 9/11 challenged our existence exactly. fifteen years later we are still fighting the same monsters in the sea with our head down. the truest shame is no-one has yet asked why???//
slavery popularized the idea of buying and selling pieces of corporation in the form of people for profit. in the twenty.first century stocks on the nasdaq are traded in the same manner. when the twin towerz dropped we saw america usher into a recession which traded power from the west into the far east. we are not the nation we used to be. amazon has been traded in for alibaba. nike factories and patents are illegally sold, traded, and destroyed. america on-line has gone bankrupt.
what does this mean for america???/ our dollar’s value is lowered, our economy is collapsed, we are being stolen from and exploited. basically, our government is setting us up for a good ol’ fashioned tree hanging, sponsored by president barack obama.
aint shit pretty.
